(VOVworld) – The Syrian government and opposition rebels have agreed to reconcile to join the battle against Islamic State IS.


Armed groups in southern Damascus will fee the kidnapped and join government forces to fight IS and extremists gunmen.


IS escalation of military operations in northern Syria has forced Damascus to launch air strikes in the area.
