PANO – Nearly 500 cadres and soldiers of the General Department of Techniques participated in a line-up regulations and sports festival on August 5th.
During the four-day event, they compete in unarmed line-up regulations, tennis, badminton and volleyball for both men’s and women’s categories.

The competition aims to evaluate training results and compliance with the military regulations of the general department’s units, improve troops’ health and select the best soldiers for the coming sports tournament of the army.
Besides, it is also to mark the 40th anniversary of the general department’s foundation day (September 10th), 70th founding anniversary of the Vietnam People’s Army, and 25th anniversary of the whole people’s defence festive day (December 22nd).
