The PPC has recently held the review conference of implementing the Ordinance on War Veterans from 2006 to now.

So far, after 8 years implementing the Ordinance, the Executive Board of War VeteranAssociation at all levels have been basically completed. There has gradually been innovation in both the content and methodology in performing at all levels of the Association. In addition, the Association at all levels have effectively participated in protecting the Party, the Government; advised and proposed precious opinions, contributing to building up the transparence and strength for the apparatus of the Party, governments at all levels; well-implementing the task of caring for the member’s living conditions, promoting the movement of War Veterans helping each other to develop family economy, advocating to remove temporary houses, reduce poverty to be rationally well-off. Until now, thanks to the whole province’s support, 484 dilapidated temporary houses of the Association’s members have been deleted; over 34% of households flourishing financially, 7.5% of households at nearly poor level; more than 900 health insurances have been issued for War veterans… However, implementing the Ordinance of War Veterans has also encountered disadvantages in identifying the objects of War veteran for the cases of lost records; being not close, missing the objects… in proposing to solve the regime for the objects.
On this occasion, the PPC awarded merit certificates to 13 collectives and 12 individuals with outstanding achievements in implementing the Ordinance of War Veterans in the period of 2006-2014.
