The non-profit festival will be co-organized by the embassy, Beluxcham, Belgium-based brewer AB InBev and three local beer importers.
The festival aims to introduce part of Belgian culture to Vietnamese people. Visitors can taste a variety of Belgian beers including fruity and light beers made for female beer-enthusiasts, discover the generation-to-generation beer brewing process and be entertained by Belgian games and jazz music.
Beer in Belgium is an essential part of social life, culture and tradition. Therefore, serving and drinking beer is an art with strict rules. The country has enjoyed a reputation for beers since the Middle Ages, when the monks brewed beer based on their malt barley, special herbs and hop.
Tickets are available at the entrance or at the hotline 097 467 7754 or 04 3519 0808. Admission to the festival costs VND250,000 a guest for ticket purchases before September 27 and VND300,000 after that. A ticket includes three beer bottles.
