PANO – The Military Hospital 103 in association with the Ninh Binh province’s Association of Agent Orange (AO)/ Dioxin Victims provided health check-ups, free medicines and health consultancy for 400 AO victims on September 25th in Yen Khanh district.
On this occasion, the hospital gave five scholarships worth VND 500,000 each to local residents. About 40 local AO victims were selected and provided with the “Hubbard method” and have got better after one-year treatment, said the hospital’s Director, Major General Hoang Manh An.
* From September 22nd to 25th, the Tank-Armored Arm inaugurated and handed over five houses of gratitude to its officers and martyrs’ wives in Co Nhue 1 ward, North Tu Liem district, Hanoi. Of which, the arm donated VND 350 million for the houses’ construction. Besides, they also granted many gifts to the recipients.
* The PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Company (PVFCCo) in collaboration with local authorities has inaugurated a community house for people in Phuoc Hau commune, Ninh Phuoc district, Ninh Thuan province.
The construction of the house began in April 2014 with a total capital investment of VND 6 billion, including VND 3 billion from the company.
Earlier, the company presented 25 scholarships worth VND 2 million each to needy students with outstanding academic results in Ben Tre province.
