HA NOI (VNS) – The salaries of 120 top executives of 11 State-owned companies under the Ministry of Industry and Trade range from VND40 million (US$1,900) to VND66 million ($3,100) per month, the ministry reported on Tuesday.
The executives come from enterprises such as the Viet Nam National Textile and Garment Group (Vinatex), Viet Nam National Petroleum Group (Petrolimex) and Viet Nam National Chemical Group (Vinachem).
Do Ngoc Khai, chairman and general director of Viet Nam Vegetable Oil Industry Corporation (Vocarimex), topped the list with a monthly salary of VND74.72 million ($ 3,550). Following Khai were Phung Dinh Thuc, chairman of Petrol Viet Nam’s Member Council, with VND65.81 ($3,130) per month; Do Van Hau, PetroVietnam general director, with VND64.35 million ($3,060) per month; and Hoang Quoc Vuong, chairman of Viet Nam Electricity’s Member Council, with VND61.32 million ($2,920) per month.
The salaries are calculated in line with Decree No51/2013/ND-CP on wages, remuneration and bonuses for high officials of State-owned companies. – VNS
