The Hanoitimes – Leading low-cost airline, Vietjet Air has announced the launch of flight routes between Viet Nam and the RoK.
Together with the two previously launched the Da Nang-Seoul and Ha Noi-Seoul routes the airline plans to operate flights on the Hanoi-Busan as soon as possible and between Ho Chi Minh City and Seoul by 2015.
The number of Korean tourists to Vietnam has increased over the past few years thanks to the country’s beautiful beaches with reasonable prices of tours. For tourism purposes alone, Vietnam welcomed nearly 618,500 Korean travellers during the first nine months of 2014.
The airline was launched in December 2011, making it the second private airline to offer domestic flights.
The new air routes aim to offer better transport services for visitors from Vietnam to the RoK and facilitate economic and investment activities between the two countries.
