The productivity of maize is estimated at 54.8 kg/ha, the production reaches 57,746 tons. The short-term crops including sugarcane, cassava are growth in the area and production.
In 2014, the agricultural sector has also focused on carrying out multiple models and using high quality seeds to increase production efficiency. Many kinds of crop plants are also changed corresponding to the land and water.
In the livestock sector, the cross-bred cows accounts for 55.5%, increasing by 0.6% compared to that in 2013. They have brought steady income for farmers in the province.
In 2015, Quang Ngai provincial agencies strives to gain 479,700 tons of food production and the average productivity of 57.3 tons / ha.
