Combining lotus flowers with Vietnamese famous beautiful sites nationwide, including Sword Lake, Ben Thanh Market, Mot Cot (One Pillar) Pagoda, the Pagoda Bridge and Independence Palace, designer Thieu Vy created a collection of charming Ao dai designs. She hoped that her collection would make a contribution to promote the image of Vietnam to the world.
Lotus flowers are familiar to the Vietnamese people and they symbolize the beauty of Vietnamese women. Fashion designers often decorate their designs with this variety of flowers and Thieu Vy is no exception. Each design in her collection looks like a piece of art that shows the combination of images of lotus flowers and moss-covered ancient architectural works and highlights the beauty of the wearers.
Designer Thieu Vy desires to present the imprints of time on each of her designs. The images of lotus flowers and some famous relics, such as the imperial capital of Hue and the Truong Tien Bridge on the laps of Ao dai.
