Six localities advanced VND210 billion for new rural area program

(CPV) - Prime Minister (PM), Nguyen Tan Dung, has agreed to advance VND210 billion (USD9.9 million) of Government bond capital from 2014 to 2016 for six centrally-governed provinces and cities to assist implementation of national program target to build new rural areas.

Accordingly, the six provinces and cities to get the budget are Thai Binh (VND75 billion), Thua Thien – Hue (VND28 billion), Da Nang (VND11 billion), Khanh Hoa (VND25 billion), Lam Dong (VND45 billion), Hau Giang (VND26 billion).


The advanced capital will be disbursed until December 31, 2014.


The PM directed the Ministry of Planning and Investment to coordinate with the Ministry of Finance to arrange the Government bond capital plan 2015 to refund as regulated.


People’s Committees of the provinces and cities will be responsible for managing and using the advanced capital at the right purpose and legal regulations./.
