On 18 November, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Tran Van Minh worked with Tra Xinh commune leaders, Tay Tra mountainous district in the implementation of socio-economic development and local politics systems in the period of 2010 -2014.
As reported, the percentage of poor households in the commune accounted for more than 65% but fell by more than 27% as compared to 4 years ago.
In the period of 2010- 2014, 11 works of clean water, roads, electrical systems, schools allocated from the capital of the state (nearly 20 billion VND) have been newly-built.
The national target program on new rural construction, programs 30a, 135 and 167 have been performed effectively.
100% of temporary schools has been abolished, 100% of the villages has connected the national power grid.
The commune owns more than 6,630 hectares of forest, including 955 ha of forest plantation area in the period 2010- 2014 and 2,200 ha of forest protected annually.
Tra Xinh CPC also coordinated the functional forces of Tay Tra district and the provincial police in treating gold mining illegally.
Besides, the commune authority has prepared contents related to the district Party Congress, tenure 2015-2020 in accordance with the plan assigned.
At the meeting, Mr. Minh shared with the staff and the people of Tra Xinh commune on difficulties in socio-economic development.
He suggested Tay Tra district to consider and allocate productive forest lands for local people; to take care of the lives of 30 farmers given land for the Nuoc Trong reservoir project; to guide local people to grow types of high economic value plants and especially attention to the work of female staff.
