PANO – The 2014 Viet Bac exhibition and fair in Thai Nguyen province wrapped up on December 17th.
With various activities, such as exhibitions, art performances, fireworks and fairs, the six-day festival, aiming at welcoming the 70th founding anniversary of the Vietnam People’s Army, the 25th anniversary of the whole people’s defence festive day, drew hundreds of thousands of troops and locals.

The organization panel teamed up with the Department of External Relations under the Ministry of National Defence to receive 16 delegations of foreign defence attachés in Vietnam.
They provided free health check-ups and medicines, presented gratitude houses and gifts to policy beneficiaries and heroic Vietnamese mothers.
Besides, more than 40 military businesses with 100 booths, out of about 150 participants in the trade fair, introduced their high-quality commodities, ranging from machinery, electric and electronic devices, and cosmetics to agricultural products, farm produce, processed food, medicines and handicrafts.
