In response to the World AIDS Day, the Social Work center under the Labor Union in Ho Chi Minh City with Sai Gon Commercial Company held a meeting with the participation of 200 workers.
This year, the month for HIV/ AIDS with the theme” No Discrimination against HIV/AIDS sufferers” takes place from November 10 to December 10. Speaking at the meeting, Nguyen Viet Cuong, deputy head of the Labor Union, said that the fact that daily stigma from society to people living with HIV could possibly worsen the transmission in the community. People living with HIV still face daily stigma from society, families, and at workplace at large.
