By the end of November 2014, the total domestic revenue in Hai Duong province had reached VND6,067 billion, 16% higher than the estimate assigned by Central Government, 22.7% higher than the same period in 2013.
Many revenue items accounting for large proportions of the total domestic revenue achieved relatively good results compared with the estimates assigned by Central Government, such as revenues from the sector of Central State-owned enterprises, exceeding 20%; the foreign investment sector, 41.5 %; the non-State industrial, commercial, and service sector, 22.1%; personal income taxes, 33.3%; etc.
However, there remained some revenue items yet to reach the estimates assigned by Central authorities, like revenues from land use, equivalent to 85.7%; the sector of local State-owned enterprises, 60%; land rents, 78.3%; etc. It was due to the frozen real estate market; many difficulties in the auction of land use right; and the shift of the Central State-owned enterprises to the non-State industrial, commercial, and service ones. Besides, many businesses were entitled to land rent reduction pursuant to the Government’s resolution.
