PANO – A Xan and Ga Ri Border posts of Quang Nam provincial Border Guard Command have worked with local medical personnel to provide free health check-ups and medicines, and health consultation to 400 Co Tu ethnic minority people in Ch’noc hamlet, Ch’om commune, Tay Giang district, and to around 200 Lao border locals in Sekong district.

* Economic-Defence Unit 5 of Military Zone 4 has visited and presented gifts to policy beneficiaries in the locality where it is stationed. The unit’s officers and troops also offered incense in commemoration of martyrs at Muong Lat War Cemetery and Tay Tien Troops Monument, meeting with village patriarchs and heads of hamlets, organizing seminars on the Vietnam People’s Army and promoting culture and sports exchanges.


* The Telecommunications University has presented a house to Cao Thi Dinh’s family which had rendered good service to the revolution. Located in Suoi Sau hamlet, Ninh Tan commune, Ninh Hoa district, Khanh Hoa province, the 35sq.m house was built at a cost of VND 70 million raised by cadres and cadets of the unit. The unit also presented her family a TV set, worth VND 3.5 million.


* Youths from the Public Security, Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group and Kon Tum province have conducted a voluntary program in Kon Plong district. The participants visited and granted 200 blankets to policy beneficiaries and students in Po E and Hieu communes, provided free health check-ups and medicines for 400 locals in Po E commune, made ID cards for locals in Hieu commune, visited Kon Plong district’s military command, and held artistic exchange with locals.
