Police assault the building holding two terror suspects in Dammartin-en-Goele, some 40 kilometres north-east of Paris, on Jan. 2015.
Gunshots and explosions erupted in a town near Charles de Gaulle airport as police began an assault on the two suspects in the massacre at Charlie Hebdo magazine.
Smoke could be seen billowing from the roof of the commercial printing business on the edge of Dammartin-en-Goele, where the suspects were located. The town is about 8 miles from Charles de Gaulle, France’s main airport.
Said Kouachi, 34, and his brother Cherif, 32, were tracked down to the building in Dammartin, opposite a logistics site operated by grocer Carrefour SA.
