PANO – A delegation of the Naval Region 4 Command on ship HQ-571 presented gifts to troops on Truong Sa Dong Island of the Truong Sa (Spratly) district, Khanh Hoa province, on January 7th.

The presents including food and essential utensils
The presents, mostly food and essential utensils are to help them celebrate a warm Tet (Lunar New Year) festival in 2015.
Major Hoang Thanh Tu, Head of Truong Sa Dong Island, held that these gifts showed the care of the Party, State, Ministry of National Defence and the whole people from the mainland to troops on the island, encouraging them to firmly protect the national sovereignty over sea and islands.
As scheduled, the HQ-571 will carry more Tet gifts to troops on other islands of Viet Nam.
