PANO – Senior Lieutenant General Mai Quang Phan, Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics visited and extended lunar new-year greetings to troops of constituent units, including the Personnel Department, the Department of Mass Mobilization, the Department of Political Education and Information, the Military Radio and Television Centre, and the Vietnam Military History Museum on February 18th (January 30th in lunar calendar.)

At the event, the units’ leaders briefed the general on their task performance and preparations for Tet holidays.


Accordingly, they have strictly implemented the Ministry of National Defence and the general department’s instructions as well as effectively enhanced political education to bring their troops a safe and money-saving Tet. They also promised to continue bringing into plays their achievements over the past year and striving to fulfill all assigned tasks in the coming time.


For his part, General Phan highly valued the units’ efforts and urged them to maintain high combat readiness and well implement their duties during Tet holidays. Besides, he extended his lunar new-year wishes to troops and reminded its troops to welcome an economical and safe Tet.
