The PPC’s Vice Chairman Pham Truong Tho on March 12 sent an urgent dispatch to chairperson of the provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development asking to coordinate with the provincial veterinary agency and localities to step up efforts to prevent bird flu in Thach Noi hamlet, Tinh Tra commune, Son Tinh district
The competent sectors of the district were asked to enhance supervision in a bid to early detect and prevent outbreaks of bird flu; besides, it’s necessary to tighten control of sales and transportation of diseased poultry out of the affected communes.
This is the first clock of bird flu disease in 2015 appear in a breeding household in Thach Noi hamlet that killed 371 ducks.
