This is the direction of the Hai Duong Provincial People’s Committee in response to the 2015 Earth Hour.
The Hai Duong Provincial People’s Committee has required the Department of Industry and Trade, the Department of Information and Communications, press and radio agencies, Hai Duong Power One Member Co., Ltd., and Hai Duong Urban Work Management JSC. to intensify propaganda and mobilization of agencies, organizations, and the people to actively respond to the 2015 Earth Hour event (8.30pm – 9.30pm on March 28) by turning off unnecessary lights and electrical devices.
The Department of Industry and Trade was assigned to preside and coordinate with Hai Duong Power One Member Co., Ltd. to develop a plan, monitor the implementation and summarize specific figures to assess the effectiveness of electricity saving, and report to the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Provincial People’s Committee after the event.
