Hoang Thach Vicem Cement Company on March 4 morning solemnly held its 35th founding anniversary and received a 1st-class Independence Order.

In 35 years of construction and development, Hoang Thach Vicem Cement Company has produced and provided over 64 million tons of cement and dozens of million tons of clinker for the country and paid nearly VND4,700 billion to the State budget.
The company has always been the leading unit and one of famous brand names of Vietnam’s cement industry.
Authorized by the President, Vice President Nguyen Thi Doan awarded the 1st-class Independence Order to Hoang Thach Vicem Cement Company. Mr. Bui Van Cuong, Alternate Member of the Central Party Committee, Secretary of the Central Business Bloc’s Party Committee, presented the company with a hanging bearing the words “35 years of unity, innovation, construction, and development.”
Speaking at the ceremony, Secretary of the Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee Bui Thanh Quyen, Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Tran Nam, and Chairman of the Members’ Council of Vietnam Cement Industry Corporation Luong Quang Khai praised contributions of generations of officials and workers of Hoang Thach Vicem Cement Company during the past 35 years.
To date, the company has successfully developed a strong brand name, supplied the country’s key works with high quality cement products, and had a staff of highly skilled officials and workers whose jobs and high and stable incomes are ensured.
In the time to come, the company should utilize its existing material sources and further invest in science and technology to produce high quality products at lower costs to well compete with big enterprises in the Southeast Asia. The company needs to take good equitization steps and always maintain its position as “the leader” of the cement industry of Vietnam.
On this occasion, Vice President Nguyen Thi Doan, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Bui Thanh Quyen, and representatives of ministries and sectors planted commemorative trees at Hoang Thach Vicem Cement Company. The company donated VND100 million to the provincial Fund for the Poor.
