VGP – Viet Nam’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has prepared specific measures to bring Vietnamese workers out of Yemen in cases of emergency.
FM Deputy Spokesperson made that statement on April 7 when asked about the situations of Vietnamese workers in Yemen.
Currently, a total number of 19 Vietnamese are living in safe places in Yemen, far away from fighting areas, she revealed.
They are working as offshore fishermen for Republic of Korea companies.
The Vietnamese Embassy in Saudi Arabia cum Yemen have closely kept contact with representatives of Vietnamese workers and cooperated with Yemen’s functional agencies to share information and ensure safety for Vietnamese laborers, she confirmed.
