PANO – The Operation Smile in Vietnam will hold a program to provide free check-ups and surgeries for 190 children with cleft lips and palates in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City in May.
Accordingly, parents should take their children to the University Medical Centre and Thu Duc district Hospital in Ho Chi Minh City on May 9th and 18th, respectively, and Vietnam-Cuba Friendship Hospital in Hanoi on May 18th and 25th, to apply for the program.
After receiving health checkups, children with severe cases will receive surgeries, from May 11th-15th and May 19th-22nd in Ho Chi Minh City, and May 19th-29th in Hanoi.
Since the beginning of this year, doctors of the Smile Operation in Vietnam have brought smiles back to 350 kids nationwide.
