(VEN) – The Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade held a press conference on Entech Hanoi 2013, an international exhibition on energy efficiency, the environment, business benefits and sustainable development that will take place from May 29-31 at the Vietnam Exhibition & Fair Center in Hanoi.
More than 50 foreign businesses have registered for over 80 pavilions at the exhibition and the number of foreign booths at the event will increase. Entech Hanoi 2012 attracted 64 booths from foreign companies.
Deputy Director of Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade Pham Duc Tien, said that Entech Hanoi would follow in the footsteps of the previous four events and be the biggest international exhibition on energy efficiency and the environment in Vietnam. Entech Hanoi 2013 is expected to attract 200 pavilions of nearly 100 domestic and foreign companies, he said.
The event will display energy efficient, high productivity lighting systems, thermal technology and equipment, electrical technology and equipment, gas systems, household appliances, renewable energy, new energy, clean production technologies and environmental technologies. There will be a retrospective on past events and three pavilions introducing energy efficient products and solutions and products using solar energy and renewable energy.
The exhibition will introduce advanced technology solutions that can help businesses reduce input costs and improve competitiveness. Entech 2013 will also create conditions for enterprises in Hanoi and northern provinces to promote investment in high technology solutions,” Tien said.
Global Expo and Event Joint Stock Company General Director and Entech Hanoi 2013 organizing board representative Nguyen Phi Hung said that domestic and foreign firms registered to book more than 170 booths at the exhibition, and that foreign companies are expected to bring to Vietnam more environmental treatment technologies than last year. German companies have registered to bring and introduce environment treatment products for lakes and ponds in Hanoi, while Swiss companies will introduce air filtering and solid waste treatment solutions.
Entech Hanoi 2013 is expected to boost business cooperation in energy efficiency and environmental protection between businesses and domestic and foreign energy service providers./.
