Hai Duong provincial People’s Committee, on the morning of 16 May, commended and rewarded students and teachers with outstanding achievements in 2012-2013 school year.
Mr. Bui Thanh Quyen, Provincial Party Committee Secretary, and Dr. Nguyen Vinh Hien, Deputy Minister of Education and Training, reward the student winning silver medal at the Asia informatics Olympic In 2012-2013 school year, Hai Duong continued to maintain excellent student achievements.
In the national gifted senior high school student exam, 68 out of 86 examinees throughout the province carried off the prizes, including three first prizes, 24 second prizes, 21 third prizes and 20 consolation prizes.
Nguyen Phan Quang Minh (student of Nguyen Trai senior high school for gifted students) won the first prize in national informatics, then the silver medal at the 7th Asia informatics Olympic 2013.
In the contest “Pupils of grade 3 learn about traffic safety for children’s smile” at national level, 1 teacher and 1 pupil in our province won second and third prizes respectively.
The primary school football team won the second prize in the Northern Milo Cup.
Six students in the province carried off the prizes in the painting contest “The dream car” organized by the Ministry of Education and Training.
In the provincial level excellent student competition, more than 2,660 primary, senior high and continuing education school students often won prizes.
At the ceremony, the provincial People’s Committee awarded 128 Certificates of Merit to excellent students at national and provincial levels, 9 teachers for their achievements in further training students winning national prizes, 6 collectives for achievements in providing further training to excellent students.
