In a letter to the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS), President Dam praised the contributions local Buddhists have made to the country’s socio-economic and cultural development over the past years
He said he believes that, as a VFF member, the VBS will continue to promote patriotic movements and campaigns launched by the VFF Central Committee.
President Dam called on the VBS to follow their motto of “Protecting the Nation – Comforting the People” in the new stage of national development and help strengthen the great national unity to create a prosperous population as well as a strong, democratic, equal and civilised country.
