BTO – The commencing ceremony to construct the Investment Project of National Highway 1A Expansion held by Binh Thuan National Highway 1A – B.T.O Joint Stock Company took place at Ham Duc commune, Ham Thuan Bac district on June 2nd, 2013.
The ceremony had the participation of Mr. Truong Vinh Trong - former member Politburo – former deputy premier, Mr. Dinh La Thang – Politburo member – Minister of Transport, Mr. Le Tien Phuong – chairman of Binh Thuan provincial People’s Committee, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc- vice chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, BIDV deputy general director Mr. Doan Anh Sang – capital sponsor, along with representatives of leaders of agencies at central and local levels.
Minister of Transport Dinh La Thang and chairman of Binh Thuan PPC Mr. Le Tien Phuong at the ceremony Binh Thuan National Highway 1A – B.T.O Joint Stock Company has undertaken he National Highway 1A Expansion project which has the total length of 44.7 km starting from Km 1642, located in Hong Thai commune, Bac Binh district and ending at Km 1692, Ham Duc commune, Ham Thuan Bac district with the total capital investment of VND 2,608 billion. The construction is planned to be completed by 2015.
The sections going through rural areas will be designed following technical standard scale of third-grade road at a maximum speed of 80km/hour, with 20.5 meter-roadbed including 4 lanes for motor vehicles, 2lanes for miscellaneous vehicles. Meanwhile, the sections through urban areas will be executed following the peripheral road at a limited speed of 60km/hour with the 25.5 meter-roadbed including 4 lanes for motor vehicles, 2 lanes for miscellaneous vehicles and sewer system. The composition of the high-grade A1-road surface consists of hot and solid asphalted concrete.
Under the form of BOT (Build- Operation – Transfer), the project will start to collect toll from Jan 2016 and the duration of payback is within 23 years and 9 months. My Thien (Source: Binh Thuan Newspaper)
