(VOV) – Trang Nhung, the second runner-up in Miss Photogenic Vietnam 2005, will play a key role in a London fashion show on June 22-23.
Nhung will model Vietnamese designer Hoang Hai’s collection “Hanoi-London” as part of Vietnam Open Festival 2013.
Hoang Hai is hoping his 20 Haute Couture designs will capture the hearts of UK fashion lovers. All of the collection’s materials are hand-made to create unique features for each design.
Trang Nhung A number of other Vietnamese models will participate in the event, including Thuy Huong, Cao Lam Vien, Jeny Nguyen, and Miss Vietnam 2010 Dang Thi Ngoc Han.
Swiss designer Lan Tschirky will also exhibit some recent work.
The Vietnamese models’ trip is organised by the British Council.
Vietnam Open Festival 2013 is the largest outdoor Vietnamese cultural festival in London this year.
Vietnamese Culture & Arts Society (VCAS) is hosting the event with the sponsorship of the Embassy of Vietnam in the United Kingdom. It forms part of celebrations for the 40th anniversary of Vietnam-UK diplomatic ties.
