(VOVworld) – Deputy Prime Minister Hoang Trung Hai urged the Vietnam Academy of Defense to revamp its education and training activities, and undertake scientific research in line with national defense strategy in the new period.

Speaking at the concluding school-year ceremony at the Academy of Defense, Mr. Hai asked the Academy to take the lead in training military staff, improve the quality of its lecturers, and upgrade teaching facilities. The Academy needs to generate a stable educational environment in which to successfully perform its tasks of training, carrying out military scientific research, and international cooperation.
