PANO – Military Hospital 5 of Military Zone 3 and the Branch of the Military-run telecom group Viettel in Dac Lac province provided free health check-ups, medicines and gifts for local needy residents.

Particularly, on July 12th and 13th, Hospital 5 sent its delegation of doctors to Gia Trung commune, Gia Vien district, Ninh Binh province, to provide free health check-ups, medicines and gifts for 500 local people.


In addition, the unit worked with local authorities to run an environmental clean-up and an artistic exchange, and disseminate effective methods to improve health and prevent diseases.


Colonel Nguyen Van Giang, Head of Hospital 5, said that it was in response to the 63rd anniversary of the War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day.


On July 13th, Viettel’s Branch in Dac Lac, in association with the Thien Hanh General Hospital, provided free health check-ups, medicines and gifts, as well as held an art performance for 500 needy people in the province, as part of the group’s “Viettel for the community” program in 2013.
