PANO – On July 13th, the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PetroVietnam) presented VND 950 million to Quang Tri town, Quang Tri province, for activities to pay tribute to those who had rendered good services to the national independence.
The money, collected by the group’s employees, will be spent in building a passenger boat for releasing flower garlands and colored lanterns into Thach Han River, constructing houses of gratitude to needy veterans, and funding the vocational training program of the Quang Tri provincial Veterans’ Association.
This was a meaningful activity of PetroVietnam’s staff to pay tribute to war invalids and heroic martyrs for the national independence for their great contributions.
