PANO – The Golden Heart Fund of the Vietnam Labour Federation and Fishermen Support Fund of Quang Ngai province on July 18 visited and presented gifts to 29 fishermen in An Vinh commune, Ly Son Disitrict, whose fishing ships, QNg-96787 TS and QNg-90153 TS, were attacked by Chinese ship while fishing in the waters at Vietnam’s Hoang Sa (Paracel) Archipelago on July 7th.

The funds handed over VND 100 million to Vo Minh Vuong, owner of ship Qng-96787, and VND 65 million and ship insurance to Mai Van Cuong, owner of ship QNg-90153 TS. Besides, 29 insurance cards were offered to 29 fishermen of the two attacked ships.
On the occasion, the Fishermen Support Fund of Quang Ngai province handed over two fish detecting devices to ships’ owners and VND 2 million to each fisherman.
