PANO – Members of the visiting delegation of Lao youths led by Mr. Khampha Phimason, Deputy Secretary of the Central Committee of Lao People’s Revolutionary Youth Union, had an exchange with their counterparts from Petrovietnam (PVN) on July 18, under the 2013 Vietnam-Lao Youth Friendly Meeting Program.

Addressing the event, Nguyen Quoc Thap, PVN’s Deputy General Director, briefed the delegation on the history and development of the group and thanked the Lao people for supporting the group to carry out projects in Laos over the past time.
For his part, Mr. Khampha Phimason appreciated the warm reception of leaders of the group and said that the Lao People’s Revolutionary Youth Union will continue to assist the group to carry out its projects and programs in Laos.
He also hoped that the group would provide Laos with experience in exploiting natural resources.
The two youth delegations on this occasion presented gifts to each other and the Lao guests then paid tribute to late President Ho Chi Minh at his Mausoleum and visited the traditional room of the Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group.
