NZ Governor General Mateparae to visit


HA NOI (VNS)— The Governor General of New Zealand, Lt Gen Rt Hon Sir Jerry Mateparae, will undertake an official visit to Viet Nam from August 3-8, at the invitation of State President Truong Tan Sang.


The visit is the second visit to Viet Nam by a Governor General of New Zealand. It is Sir Jerry Mateparae's third visit to Viet Nam, his last visit was in 2008, as Chief of the New Zealand Defence Force. — VNS
