In response to the direction of the Prime Minister to the Vietnam Week in Japan, an event that celebrates the 40th founding anniversary of Vietnam – Japan diplomatic relations, and Vietnam – Japan Friendship Year 2013, the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) will lead a business delegation to attend the Vietnam Week in Japan in five cities of Tokyo, Osaka, Kobe, Fukuoka and Nagoya from September 12 to 22, 2013.
VCCI will coordinate with Vietnamese ministries and agencies and Japanese partners to organise conferences and workshops on trade and investment promotion and on Vietnam – Japan economic cooperation in Tokyo, Osaka, Fukuoka and Nagoya and organise business matching events for businesses of the two countries. In addition, the business delegation will pay field-trip visits to factories of leading Japanese companies.

Reportedly, VCCI is asking the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Vietnam Airlines to support 70 – 90 percent of airfare (excluding taxes and surcharges) for members of the business delegation. Vietnam Airlines will confirm the level of airfare supports after it receives the list of business delegation from VCCI.
