(VOVworld) – A Vietnam-Japan culture day was held in the southern province of Ba Ria Vung Tau on Saturday. Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Ho Van Nien said this event aimed to boost exchanges between Vietnamese and Japanese people and introduce Japanese culture in Vietnam and Ba Ria Vung Tau in particular.
An art exchange between Hoi An and Japan opened the same day in the central province of Quang Nam. Vo Phung is Director of Hoi An city’s Culture and Sports Center: “The purpose of this program is to introduce Japan’s traditional culture to Vietnamese people. It will continue to be diversified, helping to increase mutual understanding between the two countries.”
