HA NOI (VNS)— Bui Quang Ngoc has been appointed the fourth CEO of the FPT Corporation, replacing Truong Gia Binh, who is also chairman of the management board.
The decision was made at a meeting of the management board on Wednesday.
Ngoc, born in 1956, is one of the corporation’s 13 founders. Between 1995-2009, he held many senior positions in the corporation, such as deputy general director in charge of information technology and director of the FPT Software Solutions Company.
FPT was founded in 1988 and is the leading information and communications technology company in Viet Nam. It posted a revenue of more than US$1.2 billion in 2012.-VNS
