HA NOI (VNS)— Dairy giant Vinamilk (VNM) hopes to buy about 70 per cent of the American company Driftwood Dairy, a representative of the company said on Thursday.
He said Vinamilk planned to invest nearly US$10 million in the company, which is based in California.
Driftwood Dairy began operations in the 1920s, providing butter, juices, ice cream and baked bread for schools, hotels, hospitals, supermarkets and restaurants.
Vinamilk expects to conclude the deal by the end of the year. — vns
