In the morning of August 21, the Japanese’s Association love Vietnam from Shizuoka province visited and presented gifts to those who are Agent Orange / dioxin victims’ relatives in Quang Ngai on its 40th anniversary of Cooperation Relations of Vietnam and Japan.
The Association awarded scholarships valued from 1.8 to 2.3 million each to seven students for their excellence in schooling.
Speaking at the award celebration, Mr. Miyao Kozuhiro- representative of the Association expressed: “Though the amount of scholarships is limited, it shows the contribution to soothing their sufferings from Agent Orange. In the upcoming time, the Association will continue to conduct many more practical activities to help Agent Orange victims in Quang Ngai province. ”
It is known that annually in August, the members of the Association visit Quang Ngai to provide wheelchairs, hearing aids and scholarships for Agent Orange victims in the province.
