HA NOI (VNS)— Viet Nam and Angola have agreed to make it easier for their firms to forge partnerships and invest in construction, oil and gas surveys and exploration.
This was decided during Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh’s visit to Angola this week.
He held talks, meetings and working sessions with many Angolan leaders, including Vice President Manuel Vicente, Foreign Minister Georges Rebelo Chicoti, Minister for Oil Jose de Vasconcelos and Minister of Public Administration, Employment and Social Security Antonio da Costa.
The two sides agreed that more could be done to develop the constantly growing bilateral trade.
In particular, the two sides agreed to make the most of Viet Nam’s farming expertise to help the African country achieve food security.
They also vowed to continue an effective expert-exchange programme. — VNS
