(CPV) - All Vietnamese citizens are encouraged to share their thoughts and offer solutions about economical and efficient energy use by joining the contest “Green energy for life”.
Co-organized by Schneider Electric in Vietnam and online newspaper VnExpress, the contest also urges people to protect the environment and build a greener future by saving energy together.
It is launched in response to the call of the Government and the national target program on economical and efficient use of energy, contributing to the sustainable development of the country, while creating a strong foundation for future generations.
Contestants can submit entries in 4 forms including articles, photos, paintings and video clips, which will be judged based on their creative elements used to attract the attention of the community, and their demonstration of relevant social issues.

The final round will be held at the international conference and exhibition “Experience efficiency 2013″, at the Reunification Palace on October 26. This is a totally free event with 12 thematic seminars, as well as a demonstration area for energy use and management solutions.
“Facing the dilemma of energy demand and increasing pressure to reduce carbon emissions, the adoption of measures to use energy effectively no longer aim at orientating level only, but specific actions of every institution and individual are also required. The contest is one of the efforts and commitments of Schneider Electric along with the Vietnamese Government to build a greener environment and more sustainable development”, said Mr. Denoly Xavier, Country President for Vietnam and Cambodia – Schneider Electric.
