Six record holders receive honourary doctorate degrees

(VOV) – World Records University Principal Thomas Bains has granted honorary doctorate degrees to six Vietnamese and five Indian record holders in a HCM City ceremony on September 21.


Meritorious artist Van Vuong was recognised for producing the most films examining Vietnam’s sea and island regions, Master Pham Dinh Phong for writing a history of Vietnamese martial arts, Labour Hero Hoang Duc Thao for his numerous science and technology innovation awards, historian Nguyen Khac Thuan for translating and editing the largest book of classical Chinese letters, composer Le Van Tuan for his book “Tear Drops for Ocean and Cror Music”, and Vo Van Tuong for documenting Vietnamese pagodas.


Five honourary doctorates were also awarded to Indians Deepak Tewari, Jayyesh Hinglajiya, Narinder Singh, Sharad Gandhi, and Soctor Parth Sarthi Sharma.
