PANO – Lieutenant General Vo Van Tuan, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army, on October 2nd led a Defence Ministry mission to check the work of combat readiness training and building fundamentals at the Air Force Officers Training School and the Navy’s Brigade 954.
Having inspected the real situation of the units and been briefed on the two units’ activities, Lieutenant General Tuan hailed them for accomplishing their assigned tasks, especially ensuring technique and progress of the naval and air force infrastructure at Cam Ranh Airport.
The general asked leaders of the two units to continue bringing into play their good results, actively improving the quality of training and combat readiness, safely carrying out constructing projects. The two units were also requested to concentrate on building a green, clean and beautiful environment and implementing policies towards cadres and troops in the rear in general and pilots in particular.
