In the difficult context, many production and business (P&B) enterprises in Hai Duong province have still developed and well observed their obligation of payment to the State budget.
Gladness about great tax payments
Masan HD One Member Co., Ltd. has always fulfilled its plan of payment to the budget every year since its start of operation in 2009.
The company in 2011 paid only VND29 billion of tax of all kinds, while the 2012′s figure was almost double to around VND51 billion.
Despite economic difficulties, the company in the first nine months of 2013 achieved a turnover of VND1,200 billion, paid about VND113 billion to the State budget, up VND62 billion over the whole year of 2012.
According to Company Director Mai Duc Lam, continuous offering of new products to meet increasing requirements of customers is the basis for the company’s stable operation and development.
The company has curtailed costs by increasing labor productivity, reducing losses in production, and attending to laborers’ life so that they would identify themselves with the enterprise.
The company considers sufficient tax payment as its obligation and responsibility, contributing to fostering the local socio-economic development.
Local economic growth will contribute to promoting the enterprise’s development.
Xuan Doan wooden furniture P&B facility in Thanh Mien district town has always well executed its obligation of tax payment to the State.
After over 20 years of development from a small-scale facility established in 1991, Xuan Doan has become one of the biggest wooden furniture P&B facilities in Thanh Mien district.
The facility scale has also been expanded to the districts of Tu Ky and Gia Loc.
To obtain the steady and stable growth as in the past time, Xuan Doan has always tried to change designs and styles and improve product quality to meet customers’ increasing requirements.
Xuan Doan in 2012 paid VND95 million of tax. With about VND5 billion of revenue, the facility in the first nine months of 2013 paid VND60 million to the budget.
Xuan Doan for many years has been one of facilities with continuous payment of large amounts of money to the budget in Thanh Mien district.
Positive signs
According to Pham Thi Mai, Director of the provincial Taxation Department, the province’s economy in 2013 still faces many difficulties and challenges, including difficulties in P&B activities of enterprises, large inventory, low investment, etc.; however, thanks to active and creative P&B of enterprises and business households in the province, the province’s budget revenues in the first nine months of the year showed positive signs.
The area’s total State budget revenue was estimated at VND4,800 billion, equivalent to 77.3% of the annual estimate, up 20% over the same period in 2012.
Most of revenues were higher than the corresponding period, in which revenues from the foreign-invested sector increased 68%, central State-owned sector 57%, local State-owned enterprises 28%, registration fees 22%, non-State sector 10%, etc.
Many enterprises in the nine months still maintained high payment to the budget, such as Ford Vietnam, Hoang Thach Vicem Cement, Masan HD, Pha Lai Thermal Power, Oceanbank, etc.
Besides, thousands of business households also fulfill tax obligations, contributing to successfully perform the task of collection for the budget in 2013.
