Nguyen Chi Thanh-Kim Ma flyover opens to traffic in Hanoi

The biggest steel flyover built in Hanoi at Nguyen Chi Thanh-Kim Ma road intersection opened to traffic on October 5.

Deputy PM Hoang Trung Hai praised the local authorities for completing the work one month early. The flyover will help ease traffic congestion.

Hai also asked the government to develop more transport infrastructure in an effort to develop and modernize the Capital City.

The Nguyen Chi Thanh-Kim Ma flyover was built at a cost of VND360 billion (US$18 million) and is 3,276m long and 16m wide with four traffic lanes.
