President Sang leaves for APEC Summit

(VOV) - President Truong Tan Sang and his delegation left Hanoi on October 6 for the 21st meeting of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC 21) forum at the invitation of Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono.



The delegation includes Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh, Director of the Presidential Office Dao Viet Trung, Minister of Industry and Trade Vu Huy Hoang, and Ambassador to Indonesia Nguyen Xuan Thuy.


President Sang is scheduled to attend plenary sessions, group dialogues, summits and bilateral meetings with leaders of the member economies to discuss ways of enhancing Vietnam’s role in Asia-Pacific cooperation mechanism and boosting bilateral relations between Vietnam and key APEC members.
