The Vietnam Association of Consumer Goods Development (VACOD) collaborated with the Son La Business Association to organise a meeting for entrepreneurs across the country in 2013 in Son La City, Son La province on October 1. This meeting, themed “Entrepreneurs return to the Northwest,” is an event in commemoration of the Vietnam Entrepreneurs’ Day (October 13).
The programme was attended by central governments, lawmaking National Assembly’s committee officials, and more than 300 entrepreneurs nationwide.
Speaking at the function, Mr Nguyen Hong Son, Chairman of Vietnam Association of Consumer Goods Development, said: This exchange programme brought together businesspeople all over the country. This was a very meaningful activity to inspire businesses and entrepreneurs to get through this challenging period. The event not only honoured roles, responsibilities and mentalities of Vietnamese entrepreneurs but also a provided a forum for them to voice aspirations in their business career.
Dr Doan Duy Khuong, Vice President of Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), decorated Medal for Enterprise Development to Son La provincial leaders and Certificates of Merit of VCCI to outstanding enterprises in the province.
