The Asia Book of Records has officially recognized eight new Asian records of Vietnam, according to the Vietnam Book of Records.
These are Vietnam’s first Asian records on gift specialities from regions across the country.
The eight specialities are green bean cakes (Hai Duong), tea (Thai Nguyen), Tra Bong cinnamon (Quang Ngai), Ngoc Linh ginseng (Kon Tum), Buon Ma Thuot coffee (Dak Lak), Trang Bang dew-exposed rice papers (Tay Ninh), coconut milk crackers (Ben Tre), and Phu Quoc pepper (Kien Giang).
The Vietnam Book of Records collected documentation and dossiers on the specialities and sent a nomination list to the Asia Book of Records to contribute to promoting Vietnamese values through specialities, dishes, and gifts.
The Asia Book of Records will add the eight recognized specialities to gift specialities of other countries throughout Asia during the promotion journey of top gift specialities.
