Overview of the meeting

It is expected that Vietnam will indicate its bilateral and multilateral commitments that Vietnam has been implemented on NAMA, JCM and reduction activities. The adaptation activities, the increase of the vulnerable in Vietnam, the difficult financial and technical capacity in the context of the global recession are problems that Vietnam is facing now. Vietnam also is aware of the relations among finance – mitigation – adaptation and related issues in order to enhance the performance and efficiency of the national budget and international funds such as the Adaptation Fund, Global Environmental Fund, and Green Climate Fund.

Under the approval of the Prime Minister, the Vietnam delegation attending the COP 19 will be 50 people led by the Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Tran Hong Ha.
