HCM CITY (VNS)— Ha Noi T&T will take on Song Lam Nghe An (SLNA) tomorrow with the top place at stake for the winners of the football match.

The match is definitely one of the most watchable games this season as it is not only a competition of top teams but also an encounter between high-calibre players on both sides.

Ha Noi T&T and leaders SLNA are well matched in all areas of the pitch, and the result of the match might be decided by explosive moments from individual players.

The 2010 champions Ha Noi T&T are in fourth place, with six points, and three behind the leaders SLNA.

A win will see Ha Noi-based football club taking over its opponent. Ha Noi’s team maintain its stability by keeping key players, who have played together for many years.

They added the skillfully-attacking diminutive midfielder Pham Thanh Luong, who was brought in from the dissolved club Ha Noi.

The 2011 champions SLNA have also had consistent results this year.

Rumours of the departure of key players were not true, and the club even added Le Cong Vinh, who has proven his value.

Beginning as a player facing unemployment shortly before the kick-off day of the new season, Vinh shone in the first rounds of the season to score four goals in three games, becoming the most prolific striker this season.

Newly promoted Dong Nai does not have a good chance against Hoang Anh Gia Lai team tomorrow, and thus will not be likely to get three points to improve their ranking.

Ninh Binh will return home to host Thanh Hoa in a mission for Nguyen Van Sy’s team to seek its second win and improve its ranking.

Today’s match is a golden chance for Binh Duong to regain its confidence with the first win of the season when the team take on seventh-placed Hai Phong.

Two other games have been delayed this round as Da Nang and Xuan Thanh Sai Gon are competing in the Asian Football Confederation Cup. — VNS
